Ray Roberts

 Landscape paintings are one-of-a-kind art pieces. They resemble a whole new meaning when you take a deeper look at them. Ray Roberts is a contemporary American painter. He is known for vibrant and colorful landscapes. Ray Roberts is known for his landscapes, portraits and figure painting. He was born in Southern California and now lives in California, Arizona. He earned his bachelor's in fine arts degree from the Center College of Design in Pasadena.  Ray Roberts paintings are incredible landscapes. They show so much detail, and he uses the most beautiful colors that make the paintings stand out a lot. The shadows in all of the paintings are really incredible. The shadows that she creates are really amazing and they are the parts of the painting that stand out to me the most. I chose Ray Roberts because he is known for his landscapes painting. The reason why I chose it is because I love to paint landscapes. I feel that I am better at painting landscapes. They are easier to create and look identical to the picture of the landscapes. What I like about landscape paintings is that they can show so much and can show a story through the painting. I like to see the brush strokes and the different ways that they create depth and shadows. You can learn so much from looking at paintings. Last semester was the first time that I created a landscape painting and as soon as I finished my first landscape painting, I was so proud, and I was very shocked. It is easier for me to keep painting a landscape painting because there is always something new to put in the painting than a regular still life painting. I have attached the first landscape painting that I did last semester. My first landscape painting actually was chosen to be in the Delta College exhibit at Creative 360. Ray Roberts is an incredible artist who shows so much detail, and he seems to relate to how I feel about landscape just from what I feel about landscapes.
